This series was produced when there was a hiatus in the drawings and I was at odds with myself. I am always pretty suspicious of my motivations and ripping up old drawings and found paper generated a lot of images, besides these. Once they begin to get too deliberate I, generally, stop in order to make things hard for myself. Perverse or what? I don't much like 1 and 2. Rather pre-ordained.
